How Does Your Garden Grow?

As part of Mt. Lehman Elementary's ongoing commitment to SAT (Science, Agriculture and Technology), our students go out regularly to our Greenhouse and Garden plots to take part in the learning and wonder of helping seeds grow to harvest.  All of our students had fun this month weeding plants (it looked fun for a while), adding soil, and planting seeds to start in the greenhouse.  Later in the Spring, our seedlings will be transplanted into the garden plots.  Division 4 students are participating in Spud's N Tubs again this year--watching how potatoes grow in a barrel!  More information coming about what we will be growing this year, but you can guess we will have lots of tomatoes, herbs and berries!
