Special Events

Mt. Lehman offers a variety of special events to enhance student learning and enjoyment.  Examples include:

  • Mt. Lehman Community Fall Fair
  • Halloween Costume Parade
  • Remembrance Day Assembly
  • Christmas Concert
  • Sports Day
  • 3 ArtStarts Theatre/Dance/Musical performances each year
  • School-wide Science Field Trip (for example:  HR MacMillan Space Centre, Vancouver Aquarium, Science World)
  • Cultural experiences (example: Chinese New Year Lion Dancers, French Canadian Maple Man, African dancing)

Our School also promotes School Spirit through theme days and events like:

  • PJ Day
  • Red, white, and pink Day
  • Crazy Hat Day
  • Wacky Hair Day
  • Break the Rules Day

Our Grade 5 class also has special experiences such as:

  • Outdoor education field trip (example:  skiing, camping)
  • Social responsibility opportunities (lunch monitors, office monitors, signboard, active assembly crew)

Our Grade 5s also have special "graduation" opportunities including:

  • "Class of" hoodies
  • Yearbooks
  • Recognition at year end assembly
