Volunteering at School

Interested in becoming a Parent Volunteer?

Below are some of the volunteer opportunities we have at our school:

Criminal Record Check Process:

ANY volunteer work near or around children is required to have a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search (valid for 5 years); completed through the Ministry of Justice PRIOR to volunteering. This process applies to ALL volunteers regardless of the amount of time spent volunteering.  Please ensure you have visited the Abbotsford School Board Office to complete the Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search

If you are interested in becoming a parent volunteer or have any questions, please contact our school office and we will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and provide you with a volunteer package.

Please note: Volunteers and noon-hour supervisors will not be permitted to volunteer/work until HR receives their CRC clearance back from the Ministry of Justice and notifies the school if it is cleared or not.
