The Abbotsford Board of Education regularly meets throughout the school year. Agendas and minutes from the public Board Meetings can be accessed through the District's Electronic School Board. Below is a summary of highlights from the meeting. To do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and for everyone's safety, all public meetings of the Abbotsford Board of Education will be closed to the public and held virtually until further notice. Mt. Lehman Elementary has THREE wonderful student teachers with us for the next couple of months!  Miss Grace Tyne joins us in Kindergarten with Mrs. Plank (Div. 5), Miss Saje Dennett joins us in Gr. 1/2 with Mrs. Gibb (Div. 4), and Miss Connor Laforce joins us with Mr. Chiappetta in Gr. 3/4 (Div. 2).  All of our practicum teachers are completing their final UFV practicum with us, and we are happy to have them here!

Mt. Lehman students shared in multicultural celebrations this month with the Chinese (Lunar) New Year and the Year of the Ox.  While we were unable to perform a Lion Dance in person due to Covid restrictions, our students were illuminated to the many celebrations associated with the Lunar New Year, as well as making lions, dragons, lanterns and, of course, an Ox.  Gung Hay Fat Choy!

Enhanced safety measures and $121.2 million in federal funding are on the way, as the Province continues to strengthen health and safety plans in K-12 schools to keep students, teachers and staff safe during the pandemic.

All middle and secondary students and K-12 staff will now be required to wear non-medical masks in all indoor areas, including when they are with their learning groups. The only exceptions are when:
